About the website

Strand Legal Consultancy Ltd, company number 09569225, operates this website from 25 Southampton Buildings, London WC2A 1AL, United Kingdom. Contact info@strandlegal.com.

These terms govern website use. The scope, fees and responsibilities of any professional service are agreed separately. Nothing here changes an existing client engagement or removes mandatory consumer rights.

Information and enquiries

Our pages, videos and articles provide general information. They do not assess your individual circumstances or guarantee an immigration, business or property outcome. Rules, fees and official guidance can change. Check the material’s date and linked official sources, and obtain advice appropriate to your circumstances before acting. An older article may describe the position at its publication date.

Sending an enquiry does not itself start an engagement, reserve an appointment or extend a legal deadline. A website acceptance message or reference does not mean a team member has reviewed the enquiry. For an approaching deadline, contact us directly and obtain confirmation that we can assist. If a form fails, use another contact method rather than assume the message arrived.

Give accurate information as far as you know, and only information you are entitled to share. The initial forms are for a short summary; we explain how to provide confidential documents when needed.

Using material and links

Website text, images and other material may belong to Strand Legal or identified third parties. You may read, link to and keep a copy for personal reference. Do not misrepresent authorship, remove attribution, republish substantial material or use it commercially without the rights holder’s permission, except where law permits. These terms do not restrict lawful quotation or other statutory copyright exceptions. Substack and other source articles remain subject to their own rights.

Do not misuse the website, send unlawful or harmful content, attempt unauthorised access, or disrupt its operation. This does not prevent a lawful complaint or a good-faith report of a problem to us.

Links to official guidance, WhatsApp, Substack and other websites lead to services operated by others. Their terms and privacy information apply there. A link does not guarantee their content or make every external service part of our engagement.

Availability and responsibility

We take reasonable care with the website, but cannot promise uninterrupted access or that every historical item reflects later developments. Features may be updated or temporarily unavailable for maintenance. Where we become aware of a material error, we assess and correct it as appropriate.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence. Statutory rights remain unaffected. These terms do not replace the responsibilities we agree in a professional engagement.

Privacy, law and changes

Our privacy notice explains personal information; our cookie information explains storage and measurement choices. Website use does not consent to optional tracking or subscribe you to marketing.

These website terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory protections applicable to you as a consumer. They do not require a consumer to bring proceedings only in England and Wales where the law gives another right. We show the date of changes. Updated website terms do not retrospectively amend a separate client agreement.
